Ministries vs. Church-Wide
A "Ministry" in SWAPP is a sub-group (e.g., Youth Group, Bus Route, Choir). Each group has its own private space.
- Delegated Leadership: You can assign a Ministry Admin who can manage that specific group's members and events without having access to your main church financial data or full CRM.
- Privacy Levels:
- Public: Anyone in your church can see and join from the app.
- Members Only: Appears in the list, but requires approval to join.
- Hidden: Does not appear in the app list; members must be added manually by an admin.
Prayer Feed & Instant Engagement
The home screen of the app features a unified prayer feed. This is the heart of member engagement.
- Push Notifications: When a member posts a prayer request, a notification is sent to everyone. This creates a "culture of prayer" where people are interceding for each other in real-time.
- Comments & Likes: Members can interact with requests, providing immediate digital encouragement to those going through trials.
Events & Smarter Scheduling
Ditch the paper bulletin. Manage your entire church calendar from the Dashboard.
- Go to Dashboard > Events.
- Targeting: You can create a "Church Wide" event or target it to a specific Ministry (e.g., a "Youth Pizza Night" only shows up for members of the Youth group).
- Recurring engine: Set once and forget. Supports weekly Sunday services, monthly potlucks, and yearly conferences.
