We're excited to introduce a powerful new feature to the Soulwinning App (SWAPP)—Giving Links! This addition makes it easy for churches and ministries to receive offerings directly through their mobile app. Whether your church uses platforms like Cash App, Zelle, or other giving methods, you can now provide a seamless giving experience for your members. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to set it up.
💻 Step 1: Log Into Your Dashboard
Start by logging into your SWAPP dashboard. Once you're in, navigate to your Profile section.
Note: We've recently overhauled the profile layout to make it cleaner and more user-friendly. If you haven't visited your profile in a while, you'll notice it's much easier to navigate now!
💸 Step 2: Find the Church Giving Section
Scroll down to the "Giving" section in your profile. This is where you'll manage all the donation links available in your app.
➕ Step 3: Add a New Giving Link
Click the "+" (plus) button to add a new giving option.
- Title: Give your link a name like "Cash App," "Zelle," or "Credit Card Giving" so users know what they're selecting.
- Link: Paste the corresponding donation URL. If you're using QR codes, you can extract the link from the code and paste it here.
Make sure the link is entered correctly so it works properly for users. Once everything looks good, hit "Save."
📱 Step 4: Test the Giving Link in the App
Open your mobile app and tap on the SWAPP logo (this will soon be replaced by your custom logo uploaded in your profile settings). You'll now see the Giving Options displayed.
Users can tap their preferred method—whether it's credit card, Cash App, Zelle, or another platform—and be redirected to a secure form or external giving page.
For example:
- Tapping the credit card option opens your integrated payment processing giving form.
- Zelle or Cash App links will redirect users to their respective platforms for easy giving.
